Recently GoFundMe has partnered with the special olympics which will in turn help finance the Winter Special Olympics as well as share the stories of these amazing athletes. This great partnership allows for the athletes and the event staff to focus on community and teamwork which is the end goal of my project. The goal is to develop connections and relationships and now with GoFundMe's partnership the Winter Special Olympics does not have to focus on finances and make sure all of the athletes can play, now they can focus more on enjoying the games themselves. GoFundMe has made a terrific move partnering with the special olympics that will not only change people's lives, but present the amazing stories of these athletes to the world.
